Prague Without Flying
DAYS 1 & 2 - LONDON TO FREIBURG AND OVERNIGHT TO PRAGUE

Travel to Paris by Eurostar, connect onto a high-speed TGV service through France and across the German border to Freiburg in the Black Forest. Here, you’ll catch a Nightjet sleeper service and travel overnight to Prague, arriving the following morning.

On arrival, check in for a 3-night stay at the Boutique Constans Hotel (or similar). If you would like to add a night in Paris or Freiburg to make more of your journey, please do let us know and we can add hotel nights in one or both of these destinations for you.

DAYS 3 & 4 - PRAGUE

Enjoy two full days exploring all that Prague has to offer. Perhaps a walk up to the Castle or a visit to the eclectic Kafka Museum. Or maybe you prefer to sit in a café alongside the Vltava River and watch the world pass by across the famous Charles Bridge.

The main focal point of the city is the Old Town, with its medieval architecture and world-famous astronomical clock. There’s also plenty to see in the New Town, including Charles Square, the largest medieval square in Europe. You can also pay a visit to the historic Jewish Quarter, home to the oldest extant synagogue in Europe.

DAY 5 - PRAGUE TO NUREMBERG

Spend another morning exploring Prague and then return to Hlavni station for your return service into Germany. You will pass through the wooded hills of Bohemia and Bavaria before disembarking at Nuremberg for an overnight stop at the NH Collection Nuremberg City (or similar).

You have an evening to discover the pretty town of Nuremberg, with its charming old town and colourful history.

DAY 6 - NUREMBERG TO LONDON

Depart Nuremberg on a sleek German ICE train today and connect in Frankfurt to reach the Eurostar terminal at Brussels. Eurostar will then whisk you back to the UK at speeds of up to 186mph.

TMR RECOMMENDS: It’s a fairly long day of travel from Nuremberg to London, particularly if you have further travel within the UK to reach home. Why not stop for a night along the River Rhine in Koblenz or Cologne to break your journey?
