Grandhotel Giessbach is a luxury historical hotel situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, on the shores of Lake Brienz, Switzerland. The hotel was constructed in 1874 by the Swiss hotelier Franz Josef Bucher-Durrer, and it has been a popular spot for tourists and celebrities alike for more than 140 years.

The hotel is located in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and forests. It features a classic, grandiose architectural style, with turrets, gables, and ornate carvings and details. Inside, the hotel is elegantly decorated, with antique furnishings, fine art, and chandeliers.

The hotel has has 70 rooms and suites, each uniquely decorated with a blend of classic and modern styles. The rooms offer stunning views of the lake and mountains, and they are equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel boasts several restaurants and bars, including the Belle Epoque restaurant, serving gourmet French cuisine, and the Giessbach-Stübli, which provides traditional Swiss dishes. There is also a bar, a terrace, and a coffee house.

One of the hotels’s highlights is the Giessbach Falls, a series of waterfalls that cascade down the mountain behind the hotel. Hotel guests can take a funicular railway up to the falls and enjoy amazing views of the surrounding landscape.
